Actually, I’d say that failure to try is worse than trying and failing. When you make an honest attempt at success — even if it ends in failure — you now have experience. You have had the opportunity to dive in, get hands-on experience while pursuing something you know next-to-nothing about, and live to tell the tale! Experience is invaluable. There are a million ways to achieve failure. Each time you fail, you’ve officially eliminated one of those pathways. You’re one step closer to finding the right way. When you don’t try, you learn… nothing.
