As someone who used to be an avid runner, I fully understand. Physical exercise seems unrelated to cognitive performance, but in my experience that couldn’t be further from the truth. Whatever the reason — the increased circulation and flow of oxygen to the brain, maybe — having a regular exercise routine is an AWESOME way to improve your mental performance at tasks such as writing. I enjoyed the article!
