Personal development offers substantial value, no doubt . I’m an avid believer in self-improvement and I strive for a life of enrichment and constant learning. But it is important to know the difference between healthy, productive habits and unsustainable habits that inevitably lead to burnout. Sadly, much of the productivity/development advice out there does not understand this distinction. Personal development is absolutely valuable, but there is a wrong way to do it.
